What a year 2021 has been! Now that it’s about to come to a close, are you making preparations for your end-of-year business rituals? Do you have any at all? If you’re a female entrepreneur, I’m sure you have some lined up to make a smooth transition for the coming year. But in the off chance that you don’t, let me share with you some year-end rituals you should do.

As a business coach for women, and a businesswoman myself, I strongly recommend taking the time to look back over the previous year and look ahead to further growing your business. You should have an inclusive overview of your business because, like I always say, a business is a holistic entity. You need to nurture all areas of your business if you want it to truly grow and thrive.

This is why I created the system, “The Women’s Blueprint to Business Success.” It tackles 9 major areas of your business that you constantly need to work on. It’s never just about one thing when you want to seriously scale and grow. This article touches on Area 1, Mindset; Area 2, Planning, and Area 8, Flow & Ease. Learn more about my system here.

Now, end-of-year business rituals can do more than just help you plan for the new year; they can help you reset your mindset and set you up for success. Here are three business rituals for female entrepreneurs to end their year and get you started on the new one.

1. Evaluation is a key business ritual

Successful female entrepreneurs evaluate their metrics, goals, and wins frequently. And the end of the year is a great time to evaluate. It will help you understand what worked, what didn’t, and what you can do to improve. You can use these insights to reset your vision going into the new year.

Even if 2021 was a successful year for your business, you’ll want to grow and set new goals to better yourself. Likewise, if the past year has not been good for you or your business, you can put your learnings towards adjusting your goals and refining your plans.

When evaluating your year, ask yourself these questions:

2. Holding an End-of-year Sale is a good ritual to end the business year

Another business ritual for female entrepreneurs is holding a year-end sale. The holidays are a great time to do this — there is a surge in sales this time of year, and you should take advantage of it.

If you haven’t hit your sales goal for the year, you still have time to meet it. And doing an end-of-year sale can definitely help.

3. Taking a break and spending time with your loved ones is also a ritual that can help your business

Now more than ever, we’ve seen how important it is to take care of yourself before anything else. Setting boundaries and taking time for yourself and with your loved ones are great ways to do this. These can help raise your energy and vibration. And when your energy and vibration are high, you bring that onto your business as well.

How can you perform at your best if you’re stressed, burnt out, and running on that feeling of scarcity? That’s not how you attract abundance. So take that well-deserved break and take the time to do what you love, with the people you love.

Summing it up

No matter how 2021 played out for you, these business rituals will help you take stock of your learnings and put them to use in setting your goals for next year. This evaluation is a crucial step in making sure that your plans for next year serve you well in achieving them.

But don’t forget that planning alone doesn’t guarantee success. You need to have systems in place for you to reach those goals. You need strategies, tools, and many more. My system, “The Women’s Blueprint to Business Success” details what areas you need to work on to be able to truly scale and grow your business and double your income in a year without a lot of effort.
